Bike a Bee Poster
These posters were screenprinted by hand by Reuse First, our good friends. 3 screens were used on recycled paper. They measure 11x17. All proceeds from the sales of posters go directly to help Chicago Honeybees!
Propolis Tincture, 1oz
Propolis, the sticky coating on the inside of a beehive, is made from tree resins. The bees gather it on their legs and use it to keep their hive healthy, as propolis has anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. It’s being studied currently for use in modern medicine, but has been used as a traditional medicine for centuries.
I made this tincture using vodka and propolis gathered from my beehives. I take a dropper-ful about three times a day in a glass of water when I feel like I’m getting sick and also when I am sick. You can’t take too much, so just listen to your body and try out different doses. It’s also excellent for oral health and can be used as a mouthwash (diluted a bit). Bonus: it tastes excellent in a hot toddy with some honey :)

Hand-made Bike a Bee Patches, approx. 4.5” x 7”
These were hand-stitched by my friend Raquel in Oregon. She and her boyfriend stayed at my house while they were cycling across america! You’ll get six safety pins when you buy one. Please note that they come in a few different colors. You can request a preferred color if you like during check-out.
Where’s the honey?! We’ll have some this summer. Be patient <3
